Facility Rentals

Facility rentals are exclusively for the use of members of the Northstar Residents Association with the exception of outdoor wedding photos, which are available to residents and the general public.  The facility is available to rent for birthday parties, meetings/seminars, small social gatherings, private club/association functions, and dinner parties.  Park space can be rented for wedding photos only.  Wedding ceremonies are not permitted in the park space.  Alcohol can be served on either level with a valid liquor license.  A facility rental contract must be completed for every rental.

CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTY SPECIAL (UNDER 15 YEARS)
Rental includes 3 hours on either floor (subject to availability) for only $40.00 + GST. 3 hours can be split so that 1 hour is in the lower level for cake and food and 2 hours on upper level to watch a movie (subject to availability). PLEASE NO FOOD OR DRINKS NEAR THE COMPUTERS IN THE MULTI-MEDIA ROOM. ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED. PLEASE NOTE: THIS FEE APPLIES TO THE USE OF ONE FLOOR AT A TIME DURING THE 3 HOUR PERIOD. Rental applicant will be charge extra if rental is not for intended package. Rental package must be used during regular facility hours prior to 6pm. Absolutely no alcohol during children’s birthday party rentals.

SOCIAL EVENT/PARTY SPECIAL
A six hour block booking from 7:30pm – 1:30am in the lower level recreation room (capacity 50). 7:30pm early set-up and 1:00am – 1:30am cleanup. Only $150.00 + GST. The upper level can be rented during this time as for an additional entertainment level for an extra $80.00 + GST.

NON-PROFIT GROUPS/COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION GROUPS
A reduced rental rate is available for non-profit and community association groups (i.e. seniors groups, block parents, beavers/scouts, etc.). Please speak to the Facility Manager to discuss rates and long term repeat bookings.

WEDDING PHOTO BOOKINGS
The park is available to be used for wedding photos but not ceremonies. Photos are to be taken near the waterfall during operating hours. Any other use of park area for photo opportunities must receive prior approval from Facility Manager. A one hour maximum time limit is allotted at no cost for members and $25.00 + GST for non-members. Both members and non-members must complete a booking request form.
