Based on the recommendation and careful consideration from management, the NSRA Board of Directors have decided that an outdoor skating rink will not be flooded at the Panorama Hills Community Centre this winter. The decision was made based on several factors including: cost to flood the rink; limited member use of the rink; and warm weather conditions that shorten the skating season and/or damage the ice during the season resulting in an extended shutdown to repair. Both management and the NSRA Board of Directors appreciates feedback from its members so please feel free to send an email to Scott.Chesniak@fsresidential.com or email@example.com with your thoughts about this decision. The NSRA Board of Directors are in very preliminary discussions with the Northern Hills Community Association, local organizations, schools and user groups about the feasibility of jointly bringing a boarded outdoor rink to the Community of Panorama Hills in the future. Updates will be provided when any decision is made.
