Community Members,

The Board would like to thank the management and staff of the Community Centre for successfully facilitating the Labour Day Corn Fest and the Halloween Haunted House. The next event will be the Family Sleigh Ride and Santa Visit on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Check this newsletter or the website for details.

It has been an extremely busy quarter for the Board.  The highlights include:

  • The audited financial statements have been completed. A copy will be sent by mail to all residents in the near future. 
  • The Capital Asset Reserve Study is in the final draft. Our Capital Asset Reserve Fund Review provides an overview of estimated future refurbishment, repair and replacement costs for all capital property that is owned or managed by the association or is otherwise the responsibility of the association over the next 25 year period.
  • An agreement has been made with the City of Calgary for snow removal on all regional paths through the community. 8+ kilometers of pathway will be cleared during the winter months in addition to pathways already maintained by the Association. Please see page 13 for more details and a map.  A map of the pathways to be cleared is also available on our website.
  • The holiday lights are back again this year at the Community Centre for the festive season!

The Board of Directors currently has an opening which includes the executive position of Secretary.  If you are interested, please contact the centre or email  I would like to thank Maryna Roshchenko for her hard work on the Board. We wish Maryna and her family the  best in the future.
